Your path in life. How to choose your path of life and not let your ego take you aside? Choosing a path, you must also have the determination to follow it.

It often happens that a person at the end of his life regrets that he wasted his best years, buried his talent in the ground, missed the opportunity to fulfill his cherished dream. It seems that he did not live his life at all, but someone else's. To prevent this from happening, read on for some tips on how to find your path in life.

Listen to yourself

Many of us make irreparable mistakes by blindly following the opinions of others. We study where our parents want; choose a job that your spouse approves of; We do the hobby recommended by friends. We are subconsciously afraid to make a mistake, we place responsibility for our actions on other people. As if those who advise are incapable of making mistakes. We must finally become bolder and listen to our own opinion. Only knowing your true needs can you understand how to find a path in life. To do this, try to question every advice of others. Not to ignore, but to question, in order to personally consider, weigh, and understand on your own that the advice is really useful. Even if advice is given by a loving and wise person, it is still necessary to approach it constructively, and not follow blindly. This will teach you to make your own decisions. Start small. Realize exactly what you want from life. If disturbing thoughts come that life is passing by, try to analyze the moment when it began. Perhaps you are not satisfied with the work, lifestyle, environment. Remember your old dreams, youthful hobbies. If you understand that this life does not coincide at all with past aspirations, then it is time to change something immediately. It is important to understand in which direction you want to develop, what to achieve, how to live. Don't hold on to what makes you unhappy. For example, it is very difficult to give up a hated job if you have spent many years on it. However, being honest with yourself, you can make a firm decision to change jobs.

Rely on your own abilities

Many people overestimate their goals in life, and then endure failure and disappointment all their lives instead of successfully doing what they love. This is due to the fact that a person is guided in the choice of activity not by his abilities and desires, but by someone else's experience, fashion and stereotypes. Do not forget that it is better to be a good potter than a bad lawyer. Especially when you consider that a good potter, improving his skills, can receive much more profit and social recognition than a lawyer with a bad reputation. Remember that success can only be achieved in what you love. Do not pursue prestige, but improve in the activity that suits you.

Don't be afraid to start over

At some point, it may seem that it is too late to change anything in your life. After all, education has already been received, work has been found, the social circle is stable. And even if all this does not suit, contradicts human nature, nothing can be changed. This opinion is wrong. It is never too late to start life anew, make new acquaintances, get a second education, do what you love. The main thing is desire and determination.

Be responsible

Do not forget that freedom is, first of all, responsibility. By independently choosing the path you want to follow, you will no longer be able to blame someone else for your failures. It is important to understand that your life is in your hands. Awareness of this is one of the important stages in the transformation of a person into a blacksmith of his own happiness.

Believe in yourself

In order to find a path in life and successfully follow the intended goal, it is very important to believe in yourself. This is more difficult than it seems, since many of us have been accustomed from childhood to take a passive position, to expect changes and pleasant accidents from life, without daring to take active actions.

In order to get rid of the oppression of your own complexes and insecurities, you need to learn to think positively.

  1. Trust yourself. Accept the fact that when you decide on a new path in life, you inevitably lose the old one. Avoid feeling guilty about this. Understand that this is not a loss, but getting rid of the unnecessary.
  2. Respect yourself. Try to get rid of the inner inhibitions that stand in your way. Remember that you deserve happiness, and do not let others impose their opinion on you.
  3. Formulate your goals in a positive way. To achieve the best results, it is necessary, having outlined a plan of action, instead of the burdensome “I must”, say to yourself: “I want”. Such a psychological technique gives a sea of enthusiasm and pushes to action.

Having managed to find your way, do not be afraid of new difficulties and be ready to overcome new obstacles. The main thing is to clearly outline your goal and really want change.

Human life is a continuous movement. The line along which a person moves is the path of life. It consists of events that take place throughout life. In other words, it can be called destiny. Each person has his own destiny, which he builds himself. Some people believe that nothing depends on them, and they go with the flow of life, maybe this is so, because there is no confirmation or refutation of this. In any case, a person makes a certain contribution to his own destiny. Well, for people who want to choose their own path in life, a few tips will help.

If you want to choose a life path and not make a mistake, you will have to give yourself the right to make a mistake, because without trying, it is impossible to understand whether it suits you or not. In addition, life goals can change with age and there is nothing surprising if this question interested you at the age of 30, 40 or 60 - the life path can change several times in a lifetime, because only those who do not develop do not change.

Do not forget about the ancient teachings, no matter how strange they may seem. If you pay attention to some exotic stories, you can see that the person himself has nothing to do with choosing his fate. It is formed long before his birth.

Stress has a negative impact on the choice of a life path, since a person who is in an insecure state will not be able to concentrate and make the right choice. An irritated person is very unbalanced, so his opinion is not confident and inaccurate. Depression not only worsens the nervous system, but also negatively affects the life position.

The choice of a life path directly depends on your mood, so you need to smile more often and look positively at all situations. Even from the slightest joy, you need to be able to “squeeze out” all the pleasure. If something did not go according to plan, it is worth remembering the proverb: everything that is not done is for the better.

Almost every person is familiar with the phrase: if you often repeat a thought, then it is realized. Maybe this is so. This option should not be ruled out. If a person wants something, thinks about it, moves towards its realization, then it must be fulfilled. People do everything to fulfill their desires, and only the confident and purposeful manage to fulfill them.

But do not exclude the option that a person chooses his life path. After all, he commits actions that later decide his fate. Also, a significant contribution to the fate of a person is made by others. They can both positively and negatively influence his development, help him in choosing a life position, or vice versa.

Choosing his life path, a person sets himself a goal, to which he approaches throughout his life. The main thing is to correctly set this goal and not retreat in any case. It's important to never stop. Only in this way can success be achieved.

How to choose a life path and not make a mistake

The search for the meaning of life has been of concern to people for many centuries. But, neither the great sages, nor philosophers, nor ordinary people, could not give an answer to this question. In life, we constantly have to make a choice: profession, university, place of work, spouse. How to find your life path so that after many years you do not have the feeling that life has been lived in vain.

First of all, decide what exactly you want from life. It can be a strong, friendly family, a fast-paced and successful career, monotonous everyday life, devoid of violent emotions, or, conversely, a life full of passions and dangerous adventures.

Sometimes we just follow the desire of others (for example, parents), who determine the fate for us. It is not right. Everyone has the right to make their own choices and mistakes. Intervention, even if not by an outsider, can cause significant harm to the psyche and self-esteem. The habit of shifting responsibility for your life to others cannot lead to anything good.

To choose a life path and not make a mistake, decide for yourself what exactly gives you pleasure. Perhaps this is what will push you on the right path in life. Maybe you enjoy painting, or playing music, or talking to children, maybe you like treating people or just doing good deeds. This will be a hint on how to find your life path.

Try to devote as much time as possible to what you love. Do not put duty above your own interests, so you can forever give up your happiness.

Take risks, do stupid things, don't be afraid to change your life. Open your life to something new.

Which movie or literary hero impresses you the most, with whom do you associate yourself. To choose a life path and not make a mistake, select a few options, this will help to establish what you really want from life.

Don't shy away from problems. Overcoming obstacles will only harden you on the difficult path to the intended goal.

And remember, it's never too late to change your life path. Even if at the age of sixty you realized that your life did not suit you at all, and you were doing something completely wrong, you should not despair. It is never too late to change ourselves, and by changing, we ourselves change the world around us.

And finally, do not forget about your loved ones, because their fate is inextricably linked with yours, therefore, they are not at all indifferent to what life path you have chosen for yourself. And if somewhere, in something you made a mistake and regret it, do not be afraid to admit your mistake and move forward.

How to find your creative path

Sometimes it seems to us that all talented people have absorbed talent with their mother's milk and do not spend absolutely any effort to achieve creative heights. This is not entirely true, every talented person is talented in his own way, and it takes years of hard work to develop natural abilities. How to find your creative path? Undoubtedly, every person has talent, but how to find it?

We can live without being aware of the existence of talent in ourselves, and therefore we do not realize the creative abilities and energy inherent in us by nature. It is very good if parents from childhood direct the child on a creative path, engage in his aesthetic education, send him to an art or music school. It is easier for teachers to figure out what the baby is most inclined to.

If the development of creative abilities in childhood was not given enough attention, talent can oversleep for quite a long time. How to understand that you have not realized your creative potential.

The first sign of the need for creativity is boredom. Everyday affairs do not give you pleasure, but you are also reluctant to do anything else. In this case, you need to realize your internal resources, and determine what kind of creativity you have a penchant for.

There are several ways to find your creative path.

You need to remember what you were fond of in childhood, what business brought you joy and pleasure. Get out of your head thoughts about the profitability of this business, just enjoy the process. A new hobby will be a great vacation and fill your life with energy and happiness.

If the first method did not help, try turning to your subconscious. Psychologists say that in our subconscious you can find the answer to almost any question, you just need to ask it correctly and hear the answer. Take a comfortable position, relax and look inward. Mentally ask the question that concerns you. Don't expect an answer right away. It may arise as some idea or thought after a few days.

If the previous two options did not bring results, you should use this technique. To choose your creative path and not make a mistake, just watch the people around you and note for yourself what you admire or just like. Write down all the things that fascinate you, and after a while look at the notes you have made and choose what exactly you would like to devote your time to.

Do not give up in the face of difficulties, only hard work can achieve mastery.

Life is a journey, but the path is not always clear. Every moment brings a miracle and a new opportunity, but you need to know where to look. The first thing to remember is that you will never find your way by exploring the distant horizons of the future. Change starts with action. Get on the road, move step by step and look both ways so as not to miss the opportunities that open up before you. Identify your passions and hobbies, and try to spend more time doing activities that have special meaning to you.

Steps

Part 1

Where to begin?

Know yourself. Before you can find your way, you need to understand where you are at the moment. Be aware of the circumstances you are in, even if you still don't know how to change them. Try to figure out what exactly is causing you to feel lost or disoriented. Develop the clearest possible vision of your life as it is.

    • Think about what you spend your time and energy on. Analyze what you do every day and try to figure out what satisfies you and makes your life complete, and what seems meaningless to you. Think about how to minimize these useless activities in your life.
    • Try putting these thoughts on paper. Write about your life or make a list, draw a diagram or a map that describes how all your hobbies and commitments are connected. You may find that visual representation helps you better understand your situation.
  1. Start moving. Finding your path can be tricky if you're exploring distant horizons for inspiration. Even if you decide to follow the path you are currently on, you will still encounter countless forks and detours along the way. In fact, your journey will not become real until you start moving in some direction - in any direction. Break free from inertia and build momentum. There is a high chance that the action will make you feel strong enough to change many other things in your life.

Try to do something. Be brave and try. This does not necessarily mean that you need to do something big. Pick a small step you can take to explore your path. Try it and see what it's like. If you don't like the course of events, you can always switch to something else.

    • Perhaps you have always dreamed of becoming a musician, but never had the slightest idea how to get there. Try a simple step: take a music class and buy or borrow a cheap instrument. Make a commitment to yourself to try this for a few weeks.
    • Perhaps you feel stuck and want to move to another city. Take some small step in this direction: go to this city to inspect it, so to speak, “for exploration”, or look for work and housing there in your free time. Your vision will become real only when you start putting it into practice.
  2. Start simple. The road will be mastered by the walking one. Individual steps may seem small and insignificant to you, but they will form something big and powerful if you keep moving. Such is the nature of the path: it does not appear before you all at once, the path is a journey of a lifetime. Your journey is the sum of every single moment of your life, everything you do and dream about, and there is no map that can show you exactly where you will end up.

    • The beginning of the path can even be just your decision to try something. Intention is the strongest thing.
  3. Don't look for excuses. It's easy to say you'll do something, but it's not always easy to see it through to the end. Be proactive and don't expect anything. The longer you delay, the longer it will take you to finally find your way. Fear stagnation, not obstacles.

    • Notice each time you come up with excuses. Learn to recognize the signs: You may be planning to do great things, but you succumb to the voice of self-doubt when it comes time to take action. Accept your fears, use them to your advantage - as an incentive, fuel.
  4. Accept yourself. Embrace your joys and ideals and strive to be the master of your circumstances. Don't try to suppress what makes you truly happy. Of course, you need to work on becoming the best version of yourself, but do not waste your energy trying to become someone else. You are a unique and powerful person, and you have everything you need to own your own destiny.

    • Remind yourself that you will never find your way if you constantly doubt yourself. You will need to make a choice and boldly step into the future.
  5. Choose between one and many. At some point, you may come to a fork in your path. You want to do one thing and you want to do another. You might be interested in three, four or even more classes! Your path can be focused on one thing, or it can be a constant exploration of new, exciting endeavors. Ask yourself if you would be happy with a single choice, and if it's worth separating your energy into different categories.

    • If you decide to give up all other options in order to achieve one goal or one path, try to stick with your choice, but give yourself the opportunity to reopen to different options. However, if you decide to devote yourself entirely to a single job or occupation, you may have to close some other doors for yourself.
    • If you decide to dedicate yourself to two passions—say, music and psychotherapy—you may find yourself on a difficult but in principle achievable path. You will have to be especially disciplined if you want to achieve heights in each of the chosen directions.
  6. Stick to what satisfies you. If something gives you a sense of joy, meaning, admiration, inspiration - keep doing it. See where this takes you. You may not yet have a clear idea of the fuller scope of your "path", but you should trust this feeling and let it guide you.

Ask yourself what kind of person you want to be. It is the source of your inspiration and motivation, so you should refer to it often. Try to practice being that person and know that it can be difficult. If you want to be a travel writer, then you need to get out of bed, exercise, go out and explore, and then come home and write about your adventures and discoveries. If you play computer games, watch TV, eat and hang out at the mall, you will never get what you want. You will come to a completely different place.

Part 3

Specify your purpose
  1. Analyze your beliefs. It is normal to question and analyze what you were taught as a child. Many children are raised to share the views of their parents, their company, and their society, and those views may not be entirely useful in your adult life. Ask yourself if your ideas about the world are really true and useful.

    • Accepting new information that contradicts or refutes what you have been taught can be stressful. Remember, this doesn't necessarily mean that you have to discard everything you've been taught—it just helps to be conscious about it. Think carefully about each truth and decide which ones serve your long-term goal.
    • Remember that questioning certain beliefs can alienate you from friends and family members. If you grew up in a society where religious traditions are deeply honored and observed, your relatives and those around you may not approve of your questioning these traditions.
    • If the opportunity isn't ideal, don't be afraid to let it go and wait for what you really want. For example: don't marry your first boyfriend if it doesn't seem right to you. Don't accept the first job someone offers you without considering other options.
    • On the other hand, you should be careful and not chase perfection. Sometimes it's best to choose the option that's in front of you. If you wait too long, you can miss out on dozens of great opportunities!
  • Do not read too much about how to know yourself. Gain strength and start making appropriate changes in your life.
  • Do self-analysis. Think about who you are and where you want to be. Nobody knows you better than yourself.
  • If you have a goal, try to be honest about what is stopping you from achieving it. Perhaps you are holding yourself back?
  • You don't need to have a plan for the rest of your life - just a place to start. The path will open up before you gradually as you walk along it.

I'm tired of living like this...

Live in the spirit of Groundhog Day. A joyless, already tired morning, a working day filled with seemingly necessary things, but in fact stupid, bringing neither joy nor satisfaction.

Endless traffic jams, a fussy evening of household chores and attempts to make up for minutes, lost hours of communication with loved ones, and as a result - deterioration in relationships, sleep without rest and everything all over again ....

I think this picture is familiar to many ...

And there comes a turning point when you realize that you can’t live like this .... That's absolutely not possible!! How is it possible? And how is it necessary? Why is everything happening the way it is? And what actually happens in life?

And where, in general, is this very life? Your life! What are you doing wrong? How to find the path of your life the path of your soul?

Everyone finds their own way when looking for answers. The key is "your way" ...

When I started looking for answers to my questions, for some reason it was the concept of “my own path” that haunted me. Where is it - "my way"?

I felt like I had lost it a long time ago...

Even then there was an inner understanding that "we have karmic lessons and responsibilities." The law of cause and effect is always at work.

At first there were only questions. Into emptiness. As it seemed to me then. Then the understanding came that some answers are difficult to find within the framework of your current life. And then signs began to appear where to look for answers ...

Start

When I accidentally saw the page of the Institute of Reincarnation on the Internet, I first passed by. As if fear did not allow me to see what I actually aspired to. Then the second time, some article. Passed by again. Then some feedback...

By that moment, I already understood that nothing happens in life just like that, and therefore, it’s not just that I stubbornly come across information about the institute.

Michael Newton's book "Journey of the Soul" made a revolution in my consciousness ... I unconditionally felt with all my soul that everything was so ...

I looked at the period of my life from a completely different perspective, when I worried for almost 5 years, came to my senses and tried to return to life after the death of my husband ...

If only I knew at least a drop of what was revealed to me now!

When everything happened, I really missed my husband, and there was a moment when he came to me, I knew it for sure, I felt it!

We sat in the room - me and my dog, both looking at the place where he stood, knowing that he was there ...

I couldn’t tell anyone about it then, they just wouldn’t understand ... But it turns out that this often happens when those who already come to their loved ones to give their love, support, to show that this is not the end, that there is a new meeting ahead !

And this knowledge, which the book confirmed, gave an incredible feeling of relief and acceptance which I needed so much.

Already in the process of reading, I began to study the materials of the Institute of Reincarnation.

I saw the beginning of “my journey”, where to look for answers to my questions. From life to life, from one incarnation to another...

Everything I read on the site seemed absolutely incredible to me at the time.

First lessons

But, despite disbelief and doubts, I decided to start with 10 lessons of Maris Dreshmanis. It is difficult to overestimate the importance of these lessons, they develop the brain, make memory work, open up new opportunities, open up a new world.

It’s better to go to the institute’s website yourself, go through these lessons and draw your own conclusions!

I went through the first few lessons almost at a run, quite easily traveling through my current life, recalling certain events. I remembered for the first time not very much, but vividly, figuratively, with emotions.

In my earliest childhood, or rather infancy, of course, I was stuck. How can I remember anything at that age?! Neither the stories of my mother, whom I pestered with questions, nor the viewing of children's photographs in the album could do anything to help me.

For several days I walked, honestly trying to somehow remember something. And when nothing worked, I decided to move on ...

And here the first, most incredible discovery awaited me, my first experience, which determined all my further steps, my further perception of what was happening and the perception of the world as a whole.

Listening to the quiet, soft voice of Maris, not really straining your memory, because remembering the moment you entered your mother’s body, when you can’t not only remember yourself at the age of one year before birth, and even more so, find some memories when you in the body of my mother, I saw and, most importantly, I felt how I, the Soul, was preparing to enter the tiny body of a child that is inside a woman!

The woman who will be my mother and the child that I will become!!!

It was literally a few seconds, maybe a minute, but having moved in my opened memories at the moment when all this is just ahead of me, I felt myself not just a person, but a Soul - free, strong, boundless, energetically powerful, with a feeling of unconditional love for everything, wise, knowing what is not available to us in the body! It's very hard to put it into words...

Then it seemed to me that I wanted to be in such a state for eternity, I had never felt anything like this in ordinary life, and could not even imagine that I could experience such feelings! After that memory, everything changed!

I believed in myself, myself, began to try listen to yourself, although the connection was a little broken, because for so long I ignored myself, my heart, my Soul. In recent years, there was only “necessary”, “must”, “necessary”, everything for others ... Duty to others, and not at all me ...

And after that, there was not the slightest doubt that you need to go to the basic course! What I can do, I can discover myself - myself, feel life in a completely different way, expand my consciousness and understanding of Life.

First discoveries

The first classes began, and discoveries followed one after another.

There was some new self-confidence. Great practice sessions. You constantly participate in the process, observe the work of professionals in this field, and learn. Working in a group gives many impressions. It is very touching to listen to the memories of other students, especially children's ones.

There is a reason to think about how well you yourself behave towards your children, what memories will they have?

What role will you play in the lives of your children and in the lives of your loved ones. You rarely think about this in your current life, which is often so hectic, filled with some kind of business ...

Some memories unfolded spontaneously. Morning walks with the dog are always pleasant for me. They allow you to wake up and be alone with yourself for a while, with nature, which is so lacking for residents of big cities.

I am overtaken by my mother with a girl of 3-4 years old. Mom walks along the central path, and the baby runs in parallel along narrow paths through bushes and flower beds. Sunlight and shadow from the foliage play on the alleys.

And then memories pop up in me. At the same age, I run along the narrow alleys of the park. Trees and large bushes form green corridors with their crowns, and I, like a real traveler, discover a new, mysterious country.

These childish, pure, fabulous impressions brightly emerge in me! They give such fresh, such magical feelings today! The feeling of discovering something new and wonderful!

New, slightly magical discoveries? They fill us like a fresh breeze!

Yes, for the sake of such feelings it is worth starting work with yourself. Bring back the perfect resource state!
And how much did we have in other incarnations? How many feelings were there? How much love and joy?

It's impossible to even imagine!

To work with more complex memories of past lives, maybe not so positive, to see your mistakes, critical situations - this requires more complex tools, and this will be in the next courses. But what I managed to discover on the basic course for myself and in myself has already changed a lot in my current life.

Manifestations of the Soul

- the most amazing journeys in the life of the current ...

And, perhaps, one of the most important achievements in this work is the ability to trust yourself. And that means your Soul. Confidence! We are told this in every class. trust yourself!

Remember that everything is within you, and trust helps to lift the veil over memories. Or rather, to understand that there is no veil, no barrier to allow yourself to remember!

Self-confidence is already changing our current life and allows us to avoid some mistakes. The soul cannot make mistakes, it can only live different experiences in different incarnations.

As soon as you start listening to your Soul, your heart, and not just your head and mind, everything changes.

Immersion in past lives, awareness of oneself not only as a person in the body, but as something more - changes the view of the world, changes the perception of other people and situations, makes you stronger and wiser.

You see other eras and countries, you see yourself in these stories, and you live through feelings that may not exist in your current life, but which remind you of yourself in a random way, and which are so lacking.

Already now we can change our lives, our perception of the world and ourselves, despite all the fears and doubts! You only need listen to your soul

Throughout life, we all have the opportunity for change, which is associated with risk. These chances may not come at the most convenient time. We may not use them, but we are always provided with options for solutions ... M. Newton “Journey of the Soul.

The man woke up in the forest. And I realized that I was lost.

He had suspected something like this before, but the Voice inside said: “ Relax man, it's okay!«

He burst into tears in despair, but he realized that this would not help the cause.

And then by chance his gaze fell on a tree and the man suddenly realized that to see beyond the forest he must rise above the forest with the help of the tallest tree.

And from the height of this tree, a man finally saw his Way.

In order not to stray in life and to know our Path, we also need such a “high tree”. What is this tree? I will tell you about this in my article.

We know where we're going, we're just lying to ourselves!

Usually, when ignorant people advise you to choose your Path (to find your destiny), they say something like: “ Remember what you loved to do as a child, what were you fond of, what could you do for hours?»

Despite the fact that such a "one-move" in no way guarantees finding one's own Path, there is a drop of truth here. It lies in the fact that in childhood the child’s brains are not yet littered with attitudes about the need to find a “normal job” and “live like normal people live”, he can dream and is more free to communicate with his unconscious. This means that he can feel his Way, but is not yet able to comprehend it rationally.

Having matured and having begun his movement in social life, a person subconsciously, in the depths of his soul, strives to get to a place where he will be maximally realized in accordance with his inner nature. This place (let's call it " point of self-realization“) is characterized by a state of increased productivity and pleasure. In various sources, it is known as the “state of flow” (Csikszentmihalyi), “satori” (in Buddhism), “action in non-action” (Bhagavad Gita).

What is important here is that in this state a person VERY HAPPY from what he does and what he aspires to. He acts with enthusiasm, and enthusiasm is the best means of purifying karma (for those who care about it) or, in other words, improving one's inner state and the outer side of life in general.

So, if a person really knows where to go, then why can't he go there? Why does a person think that he does not know where his Path is? Or knows, but does not follow it. The answer is simple: it is a lie to itself. Man lies to himself in order to justify the choice in favor of social "normality" and his own ignorance in general.

« First failure«

One can talk for a long time about the inferiority and injustice of the social order, but one thing can be safely stated - society as such, at least, is not interested in a person fully fulfilling himself and moving along his own Path. The society is interested in a person being realized as a “normal member of society”, having mastered the relevant cultural norms, the observance of which is strictly monitored inner Taskmaster.

All this leads to the fact that a person, subconsciously striving for a point of self-realization, faces various barriers - social, educational, material, etc. ). But the main barrier is ignorance about one's Path: a person does not know who he really is and where he should go.

It's happening here "first failure"- when a person fails to come to " point of self-realization» he begins to move towards NOT-his goal, not his activity (let's call it social goal-I). Having achieved social goal-I, a person may not experience strong passion or happiness there (or experience false ones), but on the whole he is doing well: he can buy a car, take out a mortgage, purchase household appliances, go on vacation and not be very tired at work. There is satisfaction from having achieved material well-being or social status, but not the enthusiasm and pleasure that a person inwardly craves. There is no harmony in the soul.

People who have reached social purpose-I in general, they are satisfied with their work, but they are not able to achieve any significant creative results in it, they are not able to be fanatically devoted to their work (like Henry Ford, who assembled his first car in a barn) and get real pleasure from it. If they are, they will most likely stop doing it.

« Second failure« and downward spiral

If a person fails to achieve social purpose-I(due to social, educational, financial, internal or other barriers), or for external reasons, he was outside this state (the global crisis destroyed jobs in the industry or dramatically increased qualification requirements), then he proceeds to achieve social purpose-II- for example, he takes an uninteresting job for the sake of earning money. Here he is unhappy and dissatisfied with his job, his education, and his whole life in general.

Insofar as feeling of inner betrayal(betrayal of oneself and one's Path) intensifies, then a person begins to get tired faster, exhausted faster, lose control over his life faster and get sick more. The inner emptiness grows. Feeling unhappy and not realizing the true causes of his unhappiness, a person begins to turn to sources of external support - these can be clubs, sects, alcohol and other drugs.

In the future, a person may lose this goal and slide even further - to complete depression and desocialization (you can regularly observe such characters near liquor stores and at train stations). These people deserve not condemnation, but mercy and compassion. Most are “lucky” and happily retire to finally “rest”. Retirement is a very cool indicator showing that a person with self-realization is not very good. If a person has his own Way, then pensions for him DOES NOT EXIST ! He goes on his Path until the death of the physical body.

Now, knowing this whole scheme (self-realization - full socialization - partial socialization - desocialization), you can determine your place on it, understand where and in what direction you are moving (or slipping). And knowing your exact location "on the map" gives you a powerful opportunity to choose a new point to move. Ready?

6 things

In order to move to point of self-realization There are 6 things a person should know about himself.

Who am I and what is my place in life– we are talking about the realization of one’s truly spiritual nature and one’s function (in the Vedas brought to India by the Aryans, they are called “varnas”, the main functions are 4) in the human system: if a person was born with a craving for truth and knowledge of the world, he becomes a Brahmin (or sorcerer); if with a craving for power and a fair order, then a kshatriya (or knight); if a person has a craving for wealth, prosperity and material well-being - he is a vaishya (or weighing); if a person does not particularly aspire to anywhere and only wants to do his job and get enough money to live on, he is a hard worker, a sudra (or a smerd).

What is my mission(or destiny, what is predetermined, predestined before the birth of the physical body on a spiritual level) is the answer to the question “why did I come into this world” or “what do I live for”; as a rule, this is a rather abstract idea, expressed by a certain verb - to help, contribute, create, etc. And here the maximum accuracy of the wording is important, otherwise there are vacillations.

What is my purpose in life– what is the most important result in my life (or even beyond) I want to achieve, why and for whom; as a rule, such a goal is so grandiose that it becomes the equivalent of a human life. And as soon as a person has such a Goal, he immediately has a Way.

My values– in other words, what exactly, what ideas, principles I am guided by in life. And these values should be their own, not borrowed (that is, they should not be the values of cultural or religious systems).

My talents- these are the abilities and skills of a person, that is, what turns out to be done very well, naturally, as if by itself.

Personal characteristics- these are desires, interests, genetic inclinations, personal qualities and traits

All these things (elements) must be coordinated with each other, otherwise it will turn out " swan, crayfish and pike» in the unconscious - different motivations will conflict and pull in different directions.

For example, someone LOVES to play with children very much, but he does not last long and he does not have the talent to invent games, holidays and be very attentive.

And at the same time, a person has a completely conscious goal - to teach people how to eat right.

It is clear that if such a person chooses for himself the profession of a child educator (baby sitter), then he will either not be able to realize himself or will fail.

Or a person who loves everything new, has the talent to intuitively find simple solutions, who wants to change the world, chooses to work as a marketer in a large corporation as his life's work. It is obvious that he will not be happy and will not be able to realize himself (this is beautifully shown in the film " 99 francs«).

It is even worse when a person does not know who he is, what is his place in life, what is his mission, what is his Purpose, his true talents, values, personal qualities.

Such a person will be like a billiard ball - all the time hitting the walls and never hitting the hole

Well, as a result, life will not be lived as well as we would like, meaningless.

When all these elements are brought together, it becomes clear to a person how to realize himself, which is his "life's work", i.e. professional occupation that corresponds to his Mission, Goal, function (varna), inner nature, talents, values, interests.

As a result, a person receives a complete picture, where there is an understanding of himself and his place in life, his mission (or purpose) and his Big goal along the Path to which he self-realizes in his life's work

This is the foundation on which a person builds his building of life.

Practice Finding Your Path

It is intuitively clear that our Path is programmed (predetermined) even before our birth. But if you try to ask yourself the question of what exactly it is, then most likely we will get something abstract in response. For example, something like "help people be happy" or "teach people to be strong" or "show the world what harmony looks like." Such an answer is valuable, but not in itself, but in combination with other elements of our system - talents, abilities, inclinations, our varna (i.e., function in the human system).

I described this situation as follows - imagine that you have a single leader (God, Tao, Absolute Truth, Supreme Intelligence, etc.), who sits very, very high and determines the strategic goals, the truth of which you feel intuitively, but unable to rationalize.

And this leader sets, for example, the following task for you - to help the children of the whole world learn to enjoy life more (this is the feeling of mission, destiny). And how to carry it out - decide for yourself, this is your responsibility.

If you are serious about the task entrusted to you, then go out to set a Big and Worthy Goal. For example, such a Goal could be to come up with real children's holidays (according to creator of TRIZ and TRTL Heinrich Altshuller mankind has not yet created a purely children's holiday with all its special attributes). The development of a methodology (technology) for generating such holidays is your Way, your “life work”.

Naturally, such a Goal must be consistent with the rest of the elements of the system - with your nature, talents, desires, interests. But I hope you get the general gist.

« One-move« or system?

Now the "market" of searching for one's vocation/destiny is dominated by techniques, exercises that can be called "one-move moves".

Here are some examples of typical "one-move":

  • Analyze 100 goals and choose yours
  • Imagine that you have 1 year left to live, six months ..
  • Imagine that you have $1000000-10.000.000 - what will you do
  • What did you like to do as a child, what did you like to play
  • If you had all the necessary resources, what book would you like to write (other than an autobiography)?
  • Listen to yourself, to your reactions to the world, to your emotions, to your heart and soul.

"One-move" by itself is not evil. Another thing is that they are of little use. This can be compared to the following example: imagine that you need to clean a huge window clean. You take a small piece of cotton wool and begin to vigorously rub the dirt. After 5 minutes, a piece of cotton wool becomes unusable and you take the next, and the next, and the next .. And so exactly until you have absolutely no clean pieces left - only used ones. You cleared some part of the window, but the rest of the space remains unclean.

This is how one-move moves work - they solve the problem very, very slowly and with minimal effect. Don't believe? Try a weak file to saw through a cast-iron pipe a meter thick.

The system works differently. A feature of the system is that the elements included in it do not just interact, but by their interaction generate a new system property. Let's say we take 100 liters of water, a long hose, a motor, something else. Each of these elements individually will not help us clean the window, but by combining them into a system, we create a powerful stream that will deal with unclean places in 5 minutes. The analogy is crude but understandable.

By practicing "one-move" you become a person who wanders in the fog - take a step, the fog does not change, take another step, the fog still continues to surround you, take the third step and again rest in the fog. And then the circle starts. Theoretically, you can get out of the fog in this way, but I think no one can give an accurate forecast - when exactly this will happen.

The system is movement THROUGH the fog. Yes, he is, he does not disappear anywhere, but ahead you see the LIGHTHOUSE. Or a guiding star. And you are moving. Because you know WHERE move and HOW EXACTLY move (to make it more interesting, safer, and faster).

By acting according to the system, you not only find out what you need to do in order to lead a happy, exciting, harmonious, interesting life in complete harmony with yourself and the world - a life in which there will be a Path and a Big Goal, a life that you will be proud of. You will also see very clearly in which area of activity you can achieve outstanding results, because this area is fully consistent with your mission, your inner nature, talents, values and personal characteristics.

When to make a choice?

It is never too late to find your path and move along it. Even if you are 70 years old and you have decided that life has already been lived. Another thing is that the earlier you start, the more time you will have and the more fruitful, interesting and richer you will live your life.

When Roald Amundsen set himself the goal of becoming a polar explorer (and reaching the South Pole) he was 15 years old and he was not fit for the “storming of Antarctica”. Therefore, he began to go in for skiing, slept with open windows, etc. At the age of 70, it would have been much more difficult for him to do this.

Nicholas Roerich, thanks to a chance (“miracle”), he became interested in the topic of antiquity at the age of 9 thanks to his acquaintance with the archaeologist Ivanovsky. In fact, this determined the entire further life Path of this undoubtedly outstanding person (“he already came to the Academy of Arts with his internally conscious topic related to archeology and the history of Ancient Russia”). Sure, he could have done it at 70, but...

And many more such examples could be cited. Their essence is the same, the sooner you start, the more you will achieve. Therefore, if you are faced with the dilemma “start your Path now or wait a little”, then understand that there is REALLY NO dilemma. There is only an unconscious fear of the new (ignorance) and the actions of the Taskmaster, forbidding to leave the comfort zone. If you really If you want to fulfill yourself, find your own Path and engage in the “life business”, which will make you a free and happy person, then you can only have one solution ..

Do you want to know WHAT EXACTLY needs to be done in your individual case to find your life Path, to create and realize your life's work, which will bring you pleasure, recognition and profit? Then
