The role of Captain Hook was played by an English teacher, so her first words of greeting, as well as one of the competitions we had at English. You can replace English remarks with Russian ones and eliminate the competition for knowledge of a foreign language.

1. Competition “The Smartest Pirates”. First, you need to decipher the code that will be the name of your team. Each team receives an encrypted code and a key to it. After you decipher the code, the captain raises his hand. (Cyphering options: “White Pearl”, “Starfish”, “Treasure Island”)

2. Competition “The fastest pirates”. Imagine that the rope on the floor is a rope stretched over an abyss that you need to walk along. Those who stumble begin their journey again. The team captain goes first. Next are all the other participants. After the participant has given high five to the captain, the next one can begin to go.

3. Competition« The most accurate pirates" Participants take turns throwing balls at a target. The team that hits the target the most will receive a golden doubloon from me.

4. Pirate quiz. Each team takes turns choosing one question, together they determine the correct answer, then one of the participants reads out the question and indicates the correct answer.

5. Competition "The most dexterous pirates." Do you know how to fish? Now let's see... You need to catch all the fish that swim in your lakes.

I cut out the fish from colored paper. Participants had to take one of the fish that we placed in the center of the hoops, run to the bucket and drop it there.

6. Competition "The smartest pirates." Well done! Release the fish back into your lakes. Some fish have words written on the back of them. You need to make sentences from these words. (Sentence options: “The kitchen on a ship is called a galley”, “The pirate flag is black”, “A map is needed to find the treasure”)

7. Collect Hook. Imagine, once I had a fight with my girlfriend and she rashly cut all my photographs into small pieces! Let's see which team will be the fastest and will be the first to assemble my image from the parts.

The treasure map was a map of Neverland Island, which I found on the Internet and modified using Photoshop (see article). Using a map, students had to find the key to a treasure chest (a folded piece of paper with a picture of a key), on which were written instructions for finding the treasure. The text of the instructions is as follows:

“Move towards the oldest palm tree growing in the palm grove.

Face the Jolly Roger and take 22 steps forward.

Turn right.

The chest is in front of you."

Initially, it was planned that the children would look for treasure in the school yard, but since it started to rain, they had to quickly replay everything and place all the details (landmarks - signs with the inscriptions “Bay”, “Palm Grove”, etc., a key with a hint and a treasure chest ) in the classroom. Box we put it in a cardboard box labeled “GASTER”.Since the office area is much smaller than the yard, the children completed the task much faster than we planned. 🙂

The treasures were found, they were shared fairly, and now we can safely move on to the treats. 🙂

Thanks to the joint efforts of teachers and parents, the holiday was a success. Of course, we all had to “sweat” a lot, but it was clear from the children that they had great fun. What else is needed for happiness?! 🙂

Fortunately, mermaids live there and they will help us find our ship. On our ship we will organize races on inflatable dinghies and get the map that Captain Hook hid. Using the map, we can easily find hidden treasures and bring them to the ship. Jake and Izzie, in gratitude for their help, will reward the guys with gold doubloons and celebrate Jolly Roger Day.
